I think the blue one has the potential to raise more money, but you have to find the right person for it. Dont think the bidding on your own site attracts that kind of person. Its a very "exclusive" item..

Tough choice! As a woodworker I’m down with walnut brown. But as a PRS fan and guitar player that blue top you out did yourself and it reminds me of PRS Custom Guitar colors. Good choice adding the teal to break up the blue.

I so wish I had the money to bid on the blue one. I totally would! I hope you keep doing some of these colorful stained wood projects. I really like the way the wood grain shows through the blue and turquoise stains.

Personally I think the walnut looks far better but the maple looks like it has potential. If there was a way to add more depth/different hues of blue or have the dye be more transient/ephemeral/iridescent along with a single or book matched piece for the top I could see both pieces being equally desirable. Both look great and I really love that texturing you did on the bottom. Nice stuff 👍

The original one is the best in my opinion as a piece of furniture. The blue one is more of an art piece. Since people spend crazy amounts on art, I think the blue one might actually go for more money. But great pieces though!

I didn't think I would love the blue as much as I do. But it's stunning. The different colour blues give it such beautiful depth. Stunning work. The plain is anything but ordinary though. Both amazing pieces, and thankyou for donating to such a worthy charity ..

There will be higher demand for option 2 but if there are just 2 ppl in the entire world who really need a blue maple top table there could be an epic bidding war as its a rare piece.

Walk into friend's house see that walnut table: Oh, Wow, what a beautiful table. Mm... Just stunning. Same scenario blue maple: Oh Wow! That is such cool table! Reminds me of a guitar my ex used to play... Where'd you get it? I've never seen anything like it! After I hit option one, I laughed to see I took the underdog in this race. They're obviously both gorgeous tables. Good Job! Fun contest!

It's all about the grain! I love walnut but my favorite color is blue. Love your work. I enjoy your creativity and skill.

Coming from a musician and a builder, foe the next build you do that is a *guitar like * finish. Use a darker color or even a black first. Sand it down so that the grain really pops. Then come back an feather in your burst coloring. It will make a huge difference and give the finish an almost 3d quality.

My 2cents, when you spend time and effort making cuts align perfectly and joints tight to almost invisible it takes something away to cover it in colour concealing the hard work underneath
