I work in a charity shop in Preston, England. About 3 months back someone brought in a CED disc and asked if we had any players. You can probably guess what I told them. Anyway, they were lucky I was in and could explain the CED thing as nobody else knew anything about them. Thanks Technology Connections for making me plausible.

My uncle had one of these players. I remember watching him load and unload the machine and wondering how it worked. I thought it was strange that he would pull the cartridge out immediately after loading it, when with VCRs, you would leave the cartridge in.
