Today, the final Under 21 Open Mic (U21OM) and Teen Poetry Slam of the year is taking place at 5 pm PST on a screen near you. Over the last year, our super-talented programs squad has curated dope featured performances and held space for hundreds of youth all over the world to connect virtually through the power of spoken word.
To close out the year with a bang, we're calling home our youth poets while inviting participants from the Bay Educators for Youth Voice program to share the stage with featured poet Jada Imani and special guest emcee Michelle 'Mush' Lee, our new Executive Director.
