Look at this 19 year old Blue Belt Chewy. I was hungry back then! Literally hungry. I was going to school, training all the time and didn’t have a ton of money for food. This forced me to learn how to meal prep on a budget since my weight was dropping down into the low 180s. The tournament was also paid for by one of the older guys in the gym. Again, I was broke. I beat the guy in the picture in the gi and he beat me in no gi. Then we took a picture. Can’t believe that was almost 20 years ago.
