do you also get emotional thinking about Cap and Thor bonding about both being men out of time?

This is the type of Thor portrayal the MCU needs more of.

i know steve's age was more acknowledged in the mcu, but i wish it was spoken about like this, like so many scenes of steve's reaction to the adjustment to his new life were cut, and i would have been grateful to have even got a scene of steve and thor interacting like this, discussing their age and the reality behind it. i know thor's portrayed slightly more comedically but i think it could have been a good scene in infinity war when rocket says "he thinks he failed" and everything ykwim oh my god i rambled sm okay bye

I get emotional when I remember someone at marvel thought "cap is a nazi" was a good idea.

Marvel, come on, how do you not put the issue for people that want to read it.

I don't think he's complaining about his immortality, he's just explaining to Cap how he perceives time n that he's always grateful coming to earth n seeing he's friends alive.

Even after everyone passes Thor you will always have the memories you spent with them forever. I like to think he cherishes all the good times he has spent helping protect not just Midgard but all the ten realms.

I love Captain America. He is the epitomy of what people should be. Especially when he fights against nazi's!

Being a man out of time can drive him to do whatever it takes to live his life despite it not being his own. For Captain America, it's the price of Freedom. and for Thor, it's knowing what it means to be human.

People say Immortality is a blessing, they say that because they are paranoid of death, take Voldemort for example, who feared death because thought death was the "End". And so did the Skeksis, the thought that the afterlife would have contained greater torments for their sins. Sure, Immortality seemed great, unable to die of anything and experience new changes, but give it a few centuries or a millennia, you'll realize that this gift is a curse. Like RWBY's main antagonist, Salem. Due to the countless millennia of walking Remnant, Salem became suicidal in nature, wishing nothing more than to be rid of her immortality, going to extreme lengths from jumping on a Grimm pools to eventually destroy a planet along with herself, hoping it would kill her and end her torment.

Loved the banter between Tony and Cap and Thor in age of ultron. Miss them a lot, superb choices for the roles.
