Today we enjoyed a ride in a 1915 Model T Ford at the Owls Head Transportation Museum. What’s the coolest car you’ve gotten to ride in?

Mark’s favorite was driving a 1977 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith in Key West, Florida where we used to live. Sara isn’t really a car person usually but did enjoy the rides today in the old cars.

BULLIES DON’T BOTHER US

After watching videos on our channel, some people question us about our parenting, our finances, our choice of clothing, our honesty and our character, and at times say downright hurtful things.

Y’all don’t get to see the nasty comments though because, as much as I value freedom of speech in the public square, this is our channel and we’re not going to allow cursing, taking the Lord’s Name in vain, or otherwise ungodly comments. We will delete such comments.

But you know what? We make videos with the purpose being to encourage, equip, and comfort families who are trying to honor God in their homes so we’re not worried what a small minority of viewers think about how we live.

We serve the King of kings and Lord of lords, and this whole planet and everything else that exists is His creation. We want to honor Him in our lives and the Bible tells us that’s not going to be popular in a sin cursed world.

Our faithful viewers are radically different than the keyboard warriors .They are investing in their children and they are fighting for their marriages. They are singing God’s praises and reading His Word with humble hearts as examples to their children. And we are here to cheer them on as they order their homes according to God’s Word. We still have a lot to learn, but we’re here to be encouraged as well as be an encouragement.

Thank you to everyone who has been reaching out with good questions, it’s good to see how the Lord is working in your lives. And we’re not afraid to answer questions, in fact we’re working on a viewer question follow up video now that we hope will be helpful to new believers and seasoned Christians as well.

Thank you especially to those who pray for our family. After a long run without seizures, Josiah had a few difficult ones in the past 24 hours. He’s resting well tonight and excited for church tomorrow. Elisha is 3 weeks old today! We’re praising God for his health and growth!

Hey everybody, how are you all doing as we approach the weekend? Here in the Cowperthwaite home, we are still letting Mommy rest and enjoying having a newborn at home, but we are also settling in to a new routine with chores, home education, and the last few days our 2 1/2 year old Gideon started potty training. It is in these very busy days that we have to take time out to just watch our children interact with their baby brother, to enjoy baby snuggles, and be reminded that God made us not only to know Him and obey Him, but also to enjoy Him.

From family hymn singing to family prayer, studying God's Word together and memorizing Scriptures that highlight the Gospel, truly knowing and loving God is always our goal. Truly, we are made to live life in the glory and grace of Jesus Christ our Savior, our Lord, and the Friend that sticks even closer than a brother.

Maybe this weekend will be cloudy, maybe it will be full of sun and activities outdoors, but wherever you find yourself this weekend, we encourage everyone to point out the beauty of Creation and the Gospel to your children, to one another in marriage, and in all that your hands find to do.

Colossians 3:12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
