Hey guys, long time no see. I'm not dead, and I do plan to post on this channel again. Things have just gotten a bit busy. BUT... I did want to tell you about my new Gumroad page! I'm selling the original source files for all my animations, for $20 each. To launch the page I'm offering a 50% discount to the first 1000 purchases! Use the code 50OFF. gumroad.com/alanbecker

Animators needed!! I'm looking for someone who can help me with Layout/Timing in particular, for my AVM Shorts series. If you know someone who might fit this role, please send them here. Read below or click here: www.hyunsdojo.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=1…
★What do I need?★
So, in making all of my animations the process goes as follows:

1. Write the Story
2. Build the Scene and Draw Main Poses
3. In-between those Main Poses
4. Add Sound Effects
5. Final Render

So far I've been hiring animators to do step 3 of this process: In-between the main poses.

But now, I'm looking for someone to do step 2: Build the scene and draw the main poses.

Basically, I will give you a very detailed storyline, and you will prepare the scene so that it can be in-betweened by an animator. that includes writing notes for the animator as you will see below. You will be given all the necessary files and I will train you to build the scene properly.

Here's what I give you:
"Red, holding a chicken, is having Blue build a chicken for him, Blue points to a spot as if to ask if that is a good spot, Red nods, Blue gets to work."

Here's what you turn it into:

Here's another example:

"the armor stand pulls out a cake. red sees it and runs toward it. armor stand motions for him to stop, red raises his hands like "woop ok i'm sorry". armor stand's cake turns into an apple, it puts the apple on its head"

★Requirements★
â–¶In order to properly lay out a scene, you must have an advanced knowledge of Staging. If you don't know what Staging is, I made a video all about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-SXL...
Staging is the art of clearly expressing an idea to the viewer. You should understand what I'm trying to convey and lay out the poses in a way that communicates that idea very clearly.
â–¶Age: preferably 18 and up.
â–¶Should have many years of animation experience.
â–¶Should be somewhat of a perfectionist, with an extreme eye for detail.

★Payment★
You will be paid hourly at a rate that we decide together. I will share a Google Spreadsheet where you can log your hours and I will pay you once a month.

★Deadline Date★
Each AVM Short goes up on the 18th of each month. You will help me reach that deadline. But it is also nice to finish early.

★Extra Comments★
I use Adobe Animate CC, so you need to use the same version in order to share files with each other. We will share files using Dropbox.

If you are interested, please provide me with the following information:
â–¶Links to examples of your work (Animation work, I'm just looking for high quality animation)
â–¶Your Age
â–¶Your Time Zone/Country
â–¶Your Availability (in general, do you have school/work?)
â–¶Your Desired Hourly Rate
â–¶Your Discord Tag (if you have one)

Send this information to me using this contact form (write "AVM Layout/Timing Application" as the subject): www.alanbecker.net/contact-me/
Thanks and I look forward to your applications!

Hey guys, this is my first post on the community tab. I apologize for not having a regular upload schedule on this channel. I have a question for you guys. What do you want me to make a tutorial video about? Comment your suggestions, and look through other people's comments and like the ones you agree with. I plan to be a little bit more regular with tutorial videos.
