„Numb“ ist der Titelgebende Track des fünften Albums von Levin Goes Lightly und die erste englische Single seit dem 2017 erschienenen "GA PS". Levin kehrt mit diesem Song wieder zu seinen musikalischen Ursprüngen zurück. Der Song beginnt wie eine Gewitterwolke und gleitet gespenstisch mit hartem Beat und schönen tragenden Synthesizer-Akkorden dahin. Wird mal zarter, bleibt aber immer aufbauend und entlädt sich erst beim erlösenden zweiten Refrain „Oh you!“.

Außerdem mit von der Partie: Stereo Total’s Brezel Göring. Ergebnis dieser spannenden Kollaboration ist ein Stück, das wie kein anderes das Dorausche »Happy Sad«-Gefühl vermittelt. “Jona” is out now!

"Jona was first song recorded for the album. Written late at night in my garage studio post lockdown. It has a subterranean feel and centres around a fictional character. The whole song was written very quickly around a simple guitar riff. I tried to capture the twilight feel of the initial idea on the actual recording, keeping everything simple, stripped down and to the minimal of takes. 
The song became a touchstone for the album and helped shape the overall sound of the tracks that followed. " - James Hoare
